Non-Renewable Resources in Bangladesh

Part-1
#Bangladesh is a south Asian country which is situated in the delta of Padma (Ganges in India)  and Jamuna Rivers in the northeastern part of Indian subcontinent. The Padma River carries vast quantities of sediments (approximately 492 ton/sq.km) every year.
#Tectonics
The Bengal Basin occupies a major part of Bangladesh which is divided into two major division (a)Precambrian Rangpur Platform (b) Bengal Foredeep.
Bangladesh has a significant amount of #non-renewable natural resources including #Natural gas, #Oil, #Coal, #Hard rock, #Limestone, and #White clay, #Boulder, #Gravel, #Glass and #Heavy mineral sand and groundwater.

#I will discuss in several posts about  the potentiality of non-renewable natural resources in Bangladesh.
